Hotel
Don’t remember taking this but this is typical of most shots I take when on city breaks – jaunty angular shot of a building facade.
High and Dry
This was on a zoom from the top of Scott’s Monument in a terrible rain storm.
Swords of a 1000 men
I had to peek behind a curtain to get this shot. Slow shutter speed because of low light and no tripods allowed.
Chapel at Edinburgh Castle
This was taken in very low light, again without a tripod, leaning against a wall.
All the blues
I took this abstract on the parade ground outside Edinburgh Castle. It’s part of the grandstand which was being erected ready for the military tattoo.
